This weeks update - 22/04/2018

Parish Newsletter and Father Anton's column updated for this week. Our Parish Mission follow up meeting is this Thursday. The session will be a great opportunity to ask the WHAT NEXT? questions and will involve presentations and group discussions. The meeting will take place at 7pm in the Hall, following Evening Prayer at 6.30pm.Also this week is the St Werburgh Parish AGM after 10 am Mass on Sunday.

Coming up is the St Werburgh Parish AGM after 10 am Mass on Sunday 22nd April. The Birmingham Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes is taking place on Saturday 26th May to Friday/Saturday 1st/2nd June. Please Note: There will be no Masses Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning this week.

Happy Easter! Parish Newsletter and Father Anton's column updated for this week. On Easter Monday there is a Men's Mass.
Coming up in April is the Training and Awareness sessions for parish readers at St Teresa’s, Trent Vale on Tuesday 17th and 24th April. At St Augustine’s Meir on the 8th May is the Devotion to The Divine Mercy. The St Thomas Aquinas Study Weekend on 13th to 15th April. The Birmingham Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes is taking place on Saturday 26th May to Friday/Saturday 1st/2nd June.

This weeks update - 25/03/2018

Parish Newsletter and Father Anton's column updated for this week. This week is Holy week. There is the penitential service on Tuesday. Thursday is The Mass of Our Lords Supper with washing of the feet. There is the Passion of Our Lord on Good Friday in the afternoon. Also on Friday are two Ecumenical Walks of Witness. 1) from Our Lady & St Werburgh’s to St Luke’s 2) from Our Lady & St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Ashley.
Holy Saturday is the Vigil Mass and Sunday is Easter Sunday. On Easter Monday there is a Men's Mass.

This weeks update - 11/02/2018

Parish Newsletter for this week and Father Anton's column updated. The forthcoming events page now lists alot of events taking place this month and in March. There are some Lenten events taking place, the Keele Chapel Singers Spring Concert, and the The Birmingham Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.
We will be supporting WaterAid for our Lenten charity. Please take a label from the porch and drop into an empty jar at home and collect all your loose change throughout Lent.

2017

Parish Llandudno Trip 2017

The Llandudno trip was very successful especially as it turned out to be a lovely day, a little breezy but not a spot of rain which was unusual for the week. Thank you to our secretary for organising the coach, payments etc. The seagulls did not seem to be causing quite as much havoc this year and the fish and chips were as good as usual. I believe it was rather windy on top of the Great Orme! It was also good to see some of our inter-church friends from St James. Last week they said “Goodbye” to their present minister Nita Edwards. We wish her well in her retirement
